(2/2) for a hotel stay. This might be it for my hike. Who knew the guy with back problems would end getting off the trail because of knees.

(1/2) On the third day I have gotten off the trail due to extreme knee pain. I've never had pain in my knees like this before and now I do. Heading to Bangor

So 2nd day is done and I'm in lots of pain. Back and knees. Not sure if this is for me. Ill see how I feel when I wake up. If its too bad then I'm done.

Tomorrow is the big day can't wait to start this thing.  Staying at Phil's  "quadzilla" place. 

Last full day in Florida

Today was my last day in florida before the hike.  I sealed up my new single person tent and finished my last bit of preparation.   Made a new footprint for my tent out of a Mylar blanket.  Just need to put my final hings in my pack and get my ticket square away.  Tomorrow Maine!

Last day of fishing in punta gorda before my hike.  Had a wonderful day and caught a few fish.  Cabbage key was awesome and now I'm hanging and drinking.  Attached is a picture of me at cabbage key.

Well its all packed up and it weighs almost 40lbs ill have to figure out how to cut that down

I just shaved off my moustache :-(  ill have 4 months to grow it back.  Final pack in PBG is today.

Last day to get ready in Pbg.  Most things are ready just need to pack.  Got go pro tested just need to figure out where it will attach
